Fall nail trends you need to get on

Fall nail trends you need to get on

Going to the nail salon may not be on everyone’s to-do list given the current COVID-19 situation. That doesn’t mean, however, that you need to skip out on a manicure altogether. We've rounded up the best fall 2020 nail trends from our Instagram feed that you can attempt to DIY or enlist one of our mobile nail technicians, who will travel to you anywhere within Toronto and the GTA, to replicate. Check out these super cute nail looks for fall for your next in-home appointment!

tortoise mahogany nail art manicureTortoise mahogany nails

We rarely get dark manicures, but fall is the perfect time to embrace darker tones. To us, tortoise nail art gives off a super mysterious vibe and it’s the perfect nail art for someone who wants to embrace fall without being full-blown Halloweeny. We love the depth of these nails and it reminds us of coffee with a tiny splash of milk! (Nails by @nailhart1)

Halloween-inspired drip tip nails

Opt for a vampy look this Halloween season with a drip tip manicure. This look is perfect for those that prefer simpler nail art. The look not only offers a spooky factor, but it’s fun too! You can play with the colour for the drip art, as the redder you go, the more frightening your manicure will look! (Nails by @amyle.nails)

Plaid in the fall is just a mood. Like many of you, we're sure, we have that one cozy plaid flannel that becomes a staple when the weather starts to dip. Whether it be a plaid skirt, wool jacket or socks, you can’t go wrong with plaid in the fall. So why not match your nails with your cozy plaid attire? This look is a bit more intricate than the previous two but you can pair it down by using it on an accent nail only or choosing a more muted palette. (Nails by @sensationails4u)

Black & orange nails

Fall is the only appropriate time to rock orange and black, so why not choose Halloween colours for your fall manicure? We love the orange and black look because it reminds us of candy corn (yum!). Plus, there are so many different ways you can incorporate these two colours. Try a geometric look like the one pictured here or maybe go for a negative space manicure… the options are endless! Shiny French tip nails

matte pink manicure with shiny french tip design

We had to throw this one in here because it’s one of our favourite looks. You can't go wrong with a classic French tip, but what we love is how this look seems to evolve every season. As you may have seen in our last nail blog post, 4 nail trends taking over our Instagram this summer, we noted the updated French manicure with coloured tips. Transition that look to fall and you get this: matte polish finished with a shiny tip of the same colour. It’s super subtle yet noticeable and adaptable to so many colours! Pro tip: if you choose this look, don’t choose a colour any lighter than the one pictured, as it will make the shiny tip more difficult to see. (Nails by @amyle.nails)

If you want to replicate one of these looks or achieve any other nail art look you've seen, head to our nail page to book with one of our professional nail technicians. All of our nail techs are mobile, meaning they will travel to you so you can enjoy your manicure at home, saving you the trouble and hassle of having to book and travel to a salon.  They are also completely PPE outfitted to ensure your safety!
